Maintenance Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintenance Planning & Execution – Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all recycling and supporting production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Machinery Reliability & Troubleshooting – Diagnose, analyze, and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment failures through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision – Lead, assign, and monitor daily tasks of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Production Coordination – Collaborate closely with production and PPIC teams to align maintenance schedules with production plans and operational priorities.
  • Spare Parts & Tools Management – Monitor, control, and propose procurement of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
  • Maintenance Documentation & Reporting – Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, equipment history records, inspection checklists, and periodic maintenance reports for management review.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance – Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety standards (HSE/K3), and operational procedures within the plant.
  • Facility & Utility Maintenance – Oversee the maintenance of plant utilities and supporting facilities, including electrical systems, compressors, conveyors, and workshop equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for equipment improvement, process optimization, and maintenance efficiency to support sustainable and reliable operations.
  • Emergency Response & Support – Respond promptly to urgent equipment breakdowns and provide on-call support to maintain operational continuity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Education: SMK (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Machinery or related field) with at least 4 years of relevant maintenance experience, or Diploma (D3) / Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics
  • Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in factory or industrial machinery maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems for industrial and recycling machinery.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic automation systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste management, or heavy equipment industries is an advantage.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; familiarity with maintenance systems (ERP/CMMS) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across production, PPIC, and management teams.
  • Highly disciplined, safety-oriented, and compliant with plant SOPs and HSE standards.
  • Able to communicate in English at a minimum of basic level (both written and verbal); higher proficiency will be an
  • advantage, especially for understanding technical manuals, documentation, and work-related communication.
  • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond to urgent operational issues.
  • Willing to work onsite at the factory area – Cikupa, Tangerang, and flexible with shifts or on-call duties.
